The province of Saskatchewan in Canada has held another round of invitations under the Provincial Nominee Program [PNP].
On July 8, 2021, a total of 295 candidates have been invited by Saskatchewan PNP – officially, the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program [SINP] – to apply for being nominated by Saskatchewan for Canadian permanent residence.
Generally, Expression of Interest [EOI] selections by Saskatchewan include 2 SINP pathways, 1 of them aligned with the federal Express Entry system and the other running independently.
All of the SINP invitations went out to Canada immigration candidates eligible for the International Skilled Worker [ISW] category.
There are 3 separate immigration pathways or ‘streams’ under the SINP’s ISW category –
Category | Stream |
International Skilled Worker | Saskatchewan Express Entry |
Occupations In-Demand | |
Employment Offer |
Usually, SINP selections are held twice a month. However, only 1 draw was held in the previous month, that is, on June 15, 2021.
Unlike Prince Edward Island ‘s Draw Schedule 2021, Saskatchewan does not have a pre-determined schedule for the SINP draws to be held.

The selection of EOIs is limited occupation-wise by the SINP due to 2 factors – [1] so that nominees with positive employment prospects in Saskatchewan are selected, and [2] SINP nominations don’t exceed the employment demand within the province.
