Saskatchewan offers fresh 514 Canada PRs to immigrants

Saskatchewan has offered fresh 514 Canada PRs via Provincial Nomination in the latest draws. This was for candidates in 2 categories and the draw was held on 23 November. The two categories are International Skilled Worker and Occupation In-Demand.

Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program has now offered 3,337 invitations from July 2018. This is through its system of EOI - Expression of Interest.  247 invites for Canada PRs were offered to candidates in the International Skilled Worker. This is in the federal Express Entry system, as quoted by the CIC News.

267 ITAs for Canada PRs were offered to candidates in the Occupation In-Demand sub-category of Saskatchewan. These had a minimum score of 64.

The federal Express Entry system manages the pool of applicants for 3 main economic immigration categories of Canada. These are the Canadian Experience Class, the Federal Skilled Trades Class, and the Federal Skilled Worker Class.

The draws held on 23 November were the 5th for both the categories of International Skilled Worker and Occupation In-Demand.  This is after the SINP shifted to the system of EOI. It earlier had a system of first-come, first-served application.

3, 337 ITAs have been offered by Saskatchewan through its International Skilled Worker Expression of Interest system. Out of these, 1552 have been offered to candidates in the Express Entry pool. Meanwhile, Occupation In-Demand candidates have received 1,785 ITAs.

SINP can select skilled workers who intend to reside in work in Saskatchewan through the International Skilled Worker category. Applicants must fulfill the criteria specified by SINP. They must also possess the factors that will assist in successfully settling in Saskatchewan. Among others, these include skilled work experience, education, and proficiency in English or French.
