The province of Saskatchewan in Canada has held its latest round of invitations under the Provincial Nominee Program [PNP].
On May 25, 2021, Saskatchewan PNP invited a total of 269 Canada immigration hopefuls to apply for a nomination – through the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program [SINP] – for their Canadian permanent residence.
This is the second SINP draw to be held in May 2021.
The previous Saskatchewan PNP draw was held on May 6, 2021.
Invitations issued in the latest SINP draw went out to candidates under the Occupations In-Demand ‘stream’ or immigration pathway of the SINP’s International Skilled Worker category.
No invitations were issued through the SINP Express Entry stream.
While the SINP’s ISW: Express Entry stream is linked with the federal Express Entry system, the ISW: Occupations In-Demand category runs independently.

For a skilled worker exploring ways for settling within Saskatchewan after being granted their Canada PR through a SINP nomination, the first step of the process is that of creating an Expression of Interest [EOI] profile with the SINP.
Once an EOI profile has been successfully created, a score – referred to as the EOI score – is allotted, following which the profile is then placed into the EOI Candidate Pool.
If selected, that candidate will be issued an Invitation to Apply [ITA] by the SINP.
SINP Assessment comes after the Application Submission by the candidate.
With the latest round of SINP invitations, a total of 10 rounds of SINP invitations have been held so far in 2021. Total SINP invitations in 2021 so far – 3,469 ISW: Occupations in-Demand: 1,822 ISW: Express Entry: 1,647 |
