According to a recent announcement, Saudi Arabia has announced updates to the work visa requirements for Indian workers. Under the new change, Indian workers are required to submit pre-verification details of their academic and professional qualifications to be eligible for the visa.

According to reports by TOI, Indians account for the second-largest immigrant community in Saudi Arabia, and around 2 million foreign workers in the Gulf countries are reported to be from India.
