South Australia adds occupations to SOL for immigrants

South Australia has added occupations to SOL - Skilled Occupations List for immigrant applicants. The details of the occupation are Cook – 351411- Competent English- Low Availability – TRA – Only Provisional 489 Visa.

The SOL is available to all applicants inclusive of Overseas Graduates of South Australia. They must review the requirements for skilled nomination prior to submitting their application, as quoted by the Migration SA Gov AU.

Supplementary Skilled List offers additional occupations. These occupations are available only to those candidates who cater to the listed additional requirements. Applicants must confirm their eligibility prior to applying in the Supplementary SOL.

Nomination from the State does not guarantee a Job in South Australia to the successful applicants. Applicants are required to compete in the local labor market. It is necessary for applicants to thoroughly research their employment opportunities. It is also their responsibility to confirm whether their occupation needs certain specific requirements. This could be such as additional training, residency, or licensing or registration.

The points system of South Australia was earlier changed in February 2018. Further changes have also been revealed by Immigration SA with immediate effect. This is owing to high applications volume for the categories in high points in recent weeks.

The minimum required points will enhance to 90 from 85 once the quota for high points approaches closing. After the quota is exhausted, the category will be closed till June 30, 2018.

• Accountant Management
• Accountant Taxation
• Auditor External
• Broker Finance
• Brokers Finance NEC
• Financial Market Dealer
• Financial Dealers NEC
• Adviser Financial Investment
• Manager Financial Investment
• Marketing Specialist
