Canada Express Entry is a popular pathway for the candidates to apply for Canada PR. Canada has held a new Express Entry draw on August 3, 2022. In this draw, 2,000 candidates received invitations to apply for permanent residence in Canada.
Candidates who applied through Federal Skilled Worker Program and Canadian Experience Class were invited in this draw. The CRS score is 9 points lower than the previous draw. In comparison to the previous draw, 250 more candidates have been invited in this draw.
A total of 5,250 candidates have been invited through the all-program draw in 2022. A total number of candidates invited in 2022 through Express Entry draws is 16,039. The new applications sent through this draw will be processed within six months. The tie-breaking rule implemented on January 6, 2022 will be considered in this draw. This is the 16th Express Entry draw in 2022 and overall it is 228th draw.
In the previous Express Entry draw, 1,750candidates received invitations to apply and the minimum score was 542.
