A brand new visa for High Potential Individuals (HPI) will launch in the UK on May 30, 2022.
The primary motto of this visa is to attract highly skilled foreign university graduates, who are given a chance to work and stay in the UK for at least 2-3 years, depending on the graduation level.
This visa supports applicants working or even setting up as self-employed and volunteers. Foreign nationals do not need a job offer or sponsorship to get a visa.
The new High potential individual route visa simplifies the process for the applicants and ensures that the foreign nationals perform and add to the UK's economy.

Kevin Foster, Minister for Safe and Legal Migration
"The HPI route enables the applicants to demonstrate high energy and become an asset to the economy of the UK and labor market in the UK. This route can be selected even without a job offer."
Eligibility criteria
The first and foremost criteria for eligibility is to have a degree from any world-renowned university.
The graduation degree must be awarded to the applicant within five years of application. This graduation degree can be from any discipline, and it should not be less than any UK bachelor's degree.
To check whether the UK Government recognizes your university or not, check with the British Government's Gov.uk website. The government publishes the list of university names recognized by them every year.
This list comprises the school names with at least 2-3 renowned rankings out of the top 50. The following are a few names of rankings
Language Skill Requirement
If the applicant's studies are in English medium, then the applicant needs to pass at least a B1 level of English language test, and that pass certificate must be submitted.
The graduation degree outside the UK should meet the requirements set by the UK government. This required standard should match the UK bachelor's, master's, or doctorate degrees standard.
