Britain has made an announcement that it will offer 75 fully-funded scholarships to the students of India who want to study in UK. The scholarships will be provided by making a partnership with different businesses. The provision of scholarships will start from September 2022. The scholarships are being provided on the occasion of 75th independence anniversary of India.

The program will include the Chevening scholarships, which are given for one year for any Master’s program. Students can take up any subject to study in a UK university. British Council will also offer 18 scholarships to the women who study the following subjects:
Besides this, six English scholarships will also be provided. The government of the UK has stated that the number of fully-funded scholarships is the highest in number for Master’s program of one year.

The Chevening scheme is being offered to 150 countries since 1983 and the largest program in the world belongs to India as the number of alumni is 3,500. The expenses provided in the scholarships are:
These expenses are available for a Master’s program of one year. The candidates also need to have work experience of two years. The latest official statistics have told that around 108,000 study visas have been issued in March 2022 to the Indian nationals.
