Eric Garcetti says this is not the end; we will be serving many students, workers, and tourists in the future and also mentioned that the delay was due to a high number of applications received. He stated the goal is to process 1 million visas in 2023.
India and the US have collaborated many times in simplifying the visa process. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi made a significant development during his recent visit that Indian professionals are not required to leave the US to renew their H1B visa.
