Details of the US visa procedure: 

The United States opened up new visas for 250,000 immigrants. The waiting time for the US visa drastically dropped over a month in different cities:

• New Delhi 543 days.
• Kolkata to 126 days
• Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad 500 days.

The United States mission hit a milestone of one million immigration visas last month. 1,50,000 Indians have travelled to the U.S. till September 2023. India currently represents 10% of visa applications, which there are :

• 20% of all student visa applications.
• 65% of all H&L-category (employment).

B1 and B2 visas allow holders to participate in business and recreational activities in the U.S.
