You can now download the WES app on your mobile

Canada aspirants are aware that getting your educational credentials assessed is an important part of the visa process. An ECA or Educational Credential Assessment is a report which assesses your foreign educational qualifications. The Express Entry Program uses the ECA report to ensure that your foreign degree is valid and equivalent to a Canadian one.

 

You may also need to get an ECA done if you are applying for a Student Visa to the US or Canada.

 

There are designated organizations in Canada and the US that are authorized to issue an ECA report.

 

The most popular organization to do an ECA in Canada is WES (World Education Services).

The WES is designated by the IRCC to evaluate diplomas and degrees that have been earned outside of Canada.

 

An ECA report issued by WES is valid for 5 years from the date of issue.

 

WES has now introduced a new mobile application which will help you track your ECA application in real-time. Applicants can download the mobile app from the Google Playstore or the App Store. The application can also be downloaded from the WES website.

The mobile application can help in:

• Checking the status of your submitted application
• You get reminders on the steps that you need to complete
• You get automatic notifications regarding the status of your application
• You can online access to your Educational Credential Assessment Report

Currently, the WES mobile application is only available to ECA applicants.
