Major switch-up in Justin Trudeau’s cabinet

• The Prime Minister of Canada, Justin Trudeau, announced major changes in his cabinet on July 26, 2023.
• As part of the cabinet reassignment, Marc Miller, a former Minister of Crown-Indigenous Relations, was appointed as the new Immigration Minister of Canada.
• Sean Fraser, who was previously delegated as the Immigration Minister, will now be serving as the Minister of Housing, Infrastructure, and Communities.
• The decision to shuffle the cabinet was taken to promote public communications and government policies.
