84% of the job vacancies for Machine Operators were unfilled owing to the skill shortages in the France Job Market. The figures for Carpenters were 80%, Butchers was 65%, and for Computer Engineers it was 63%, as quoted by the Economist.

 

Natixis Chief Economist Patrick Artus said that crucial challenges have been witnessed in France. This is notwithstanding the high unemployment in the nation added Chief Economist at the French Bank.

 

The numbers of jobs in France are increasing owing to the Euro Zone’s broader economic recovery. It has been anticipated that the growth of GDP in France will exceed 2% in 2018. Meanwhile, France is witnessing several positions remaining unfilled due to lack of skilled workers said, Patrick Artus.  This is exerting upward pressure on the salaries. Shortage of skills is the chief reason for the high rates of OECD nations’ structural unemployment, added Artus.
