You cannot apply for a Singapore work Visa without a valid job offer. A job in Singapore is one of the compulsory requirements to be eligible for a Singapore Work Visa. Once you get a job offer in the country, you can apply for any work visa offered by Singapore, depending on your job role and other requirements. Except for the Personalised Employment Pass (PEP), most of the work visas and passes in Singapore are tied to employers. After receiving a job offer, your employer would initiate the process of a work visa application.

You would be eligible to apply for a Singapore Work Visa if you meet the following requirements: 
 

<ul>
	<li>Must be aged above 18 years</li>
	<li>Must have a valid job offer in Singapore</li>
	<li>Must earn a monthly salary of SGD 30,000 or more</li>
	<li>Overseas applicants must have been employed with a foreign company for a minimum of one year</li>

<h3>Singapore Work Visa Application Process</h3>

The Singapore Work Visa application process involves the following steps: 
 

Step 1: Receive a job offer in Singapore

Step 2: Your employer will apply for the Visa online via Employment Pass Online

Step 3: The employer will receive an In-Principle Approval (IPA) Letter

Step 4: Fly to Singapore

Step 5: Receive a Singapore Work Visa upon arrival 
 

After reaching Singapore, your employer will have to complete the fee payment for the Singapore Work Pass. You will receive a notification letter requesting biometric details once you receive your work pass. However, you can start working while your biometric details are updated. Once the update is complete, you can apply for an Employment Card.
