Courses covered: Full-time master's programs at The Maastricht University (UM), a public research university in Maastricht, Netherlands, in the fields of science, arts, computer science, and humanities for international students.
Maastricht University, Netherlands, offers 24 scholarships of €30.000 each academic year for exceptional students hailing not from the EU who have gained admission to its Master's programs.
Eligible for these scholarships are international students from outside the EU/EEA, Surinam, and Switzerland who have submitted applications for admission to full-time master's programs at Maastricht University for the academic year 2024-2025.
Number of Scholarships Offered: 24 in total every year.

To be eligible for these scholarships, applicants need to fulfill the following criteria:
Scholarship Benefits: The Maastricht University NL-High Potential Scholarships covers various expenses, including:
Tuition fees: (at cost)
Living expenses: € 12,350 (13 months) or € 23,750 (25 months)
Pre-academic training costs: (at cost)
Visa application costs: € 210
Health insurance: € 700
Step 1: The Maastricht University’s International Services Desk verifies that all applications are completed after February 1, 2024.
Step 2: The Maastricht University’s International Services Desk sends to each UM Faculty all completed applications in February 2024.
Step 3: Each faculty chooses and ranks the top 5% of scholarship applicants according to them and sends them for a final check to the UM International Services Desk in March 2024.
Step 4: The Faculty selections will be confirmed by the UM International Services Desk by the end of March 2024.
Step 5: All candidates will be apprised of their application status by the UM International Services Desk in April 2024. Beneficiaries of the scholarship will receive additional information about the Pre-Academic Training program of Maastricht University as well as their arrival in Maastricht upon receipt of their award letters. In August 2024, the Pre-Academic Training will begin.
Step 6: Scholarship beneficiaries need to sign and return the award letter to the UM International Services Desk for acceptance of the scholarship.
Applicants eligible for the scholarship need to follow the steps mentioned below:
Step 1: Register at Maastricht University for one of the participating master's programs.
Step 2: Submit the application via Studielink.
Step 3: After receiving a student ID number, they must fill up the Scholarship Application Form and submit it through the scholarship portal before February 1, 2024
