The Swedish Institute Scholarships for Global Professionals are offered to prospective international students who enroll in Master’s programs in universities and higher educational institutions in Sweden.
The Swedish Institute Scholarships for Global Professionals (SISGP), a new scholarship program, offers scholarships to many students of Master’s programs at Swedish Institutions in the autumn 2024.
The Swedish Institute Scholarship for Global Professionals strives to develop future international leaders who will contribute to the United Nations (UN) 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and work towards constructive and organic development in their native countries.
Eligible for the Swedish Institute Scholarships for Global Professionals are foreign students enrolling in Master’s programs in Swedish universities and higher educational institutions.
Eligible for the scholarship are applicants fulfilling the following criteria:
International students who hail from certain countries across the globe apply for a full-time Master’s program at Swedish Institutions, which will commence in August 2024.
You need to be a citizen of a country that is eligible for these scholarships (see above).
You need to have work experience, barring those from specific regions. Furthermore, you need to show leadership experience from your existing or an earlier employer or by engaging with civil society.
You should pay tuition fees to universities in Sweden, have adhered to the University Admissions steps, have made the payment for the application fee on schedule, and must have been admitted to one of the entitled Master’s programs by March 21, 2024.
Eligible applicants for the scholarship must follow the steps mentioned below:
Step 1: you should have applied online for a master’s program by January 15, 2024, at universityadmissions.se.
Step 2: After applying to the Master’s program at the Swedish universities’ portal, a personal application number comprising eight digits will be sent to you.
Step 3: Save the number and apply with it to the Swedish Institute Scholarship for Global Professionals.
Step 4: After submitting your application to a master’s program, you can apply for a Swedish Institute scholarship along with the documents required digitally via the online portal for applications from February 12, 2024, through to February 28, 2024.
