RMIT University, officially the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, is a public university in Melbourne, Australia.
Founded in 1887, it became a public university in 1992. The main campus of RMIT is located in Hoddle Grid in Melbourne. It also houses two satellite campuses in Brunswick and Bundoora.
