The University of New South Wales (UNSW), aka UNSW Sydney, is a public research university based in Sydney, Australia.
Established in 1949, in the 2021 QS World University Rankings, UNSW was ranked #44th in the world, and in the 2021 Times Higher Education World University Rankings, it was ranked #67 in the world. It has international exchange and research partnerships with more than 200 universities globally.
The university has seven faculties to offer bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees. The main campus is located in Kensington, a suburb of Sydney. UNSW Art & Design is its creative arts faculty, which is located in Paddington. It has sub-campuses in the Sydney CBD and many other suburbs.
