The Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, Karlsruher Institut für Technologie in German, is a public university located in Karlsruhe, Baden-Württemberg, Germany. Established in 1825, it has eleven faculties. It houses 25,000 students, of whom more than 5,200 are foreign nationals. The university has an acceptance rate of 20% to 30%.
