Biomedical Engineering

Study structure

The bioengineering course combines engineering and natural sciences. At the beginning, the basics are laid in mathematics, chemistry and biology as well as technical mechanics, numeric and equipment construction. Other topics like of thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, etc. enables you to understand technological processes. Not only biotechnology, but all operations of process engineering are learned. In addition to the lectures, the content is also taught in laboratory internships. The students can conduct research at the end of the course by choosing a study topic.

Applied Geosciences

3 years standard period of study to obtain a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree; a total of 180 credit points (analogous to the European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System – ECTS) must be acquired. The individual duration of study may differ from the standard period of study.

The Bachelor's degree program is modular in structure. The first four semesters provide basic knowledge in the following areas of applied geosciences:
