Georgia Tech offers financial assistance to students through aid, grants, loans, scholarships, etc. Foreign students are allowed to apply for private scholarships. Students holding F-1 visas can work on-campus part-time for up to 20 hours per week during semesters or full-time during vacations.
The US Federal Work-Study (FWS) provides for students part-time work with financial aid to allow them to earn money with which they pay for their educational expenses. FWS is provided to undergraduate students at Georgia Tech who are enrolled at least half-time and demonstrate financial need. FWS pays range from $600 to $1,500 per semester.
