New York University (NYU) (MS Programs)

New York University (NYU) is a private university located in New York City. Founded in 1831, it is home to ten undergraduate schools and 15 graduate schools. In its main campus are more than 171 buildings located between Manhattan and Brooklyn.

It also has satellite campuses in Abu Dhabi and Shanghai, besides academic centers in the capital cities of Morocco, Germany, England, Spain, Czech Republic, Florence (Italy), Los Angeles (US), Sydney (Australia), Tel Aviv (Israel), and Washington, D.C (USA)

Visa Requirements For Foreign Students At NYU

Students do not need any type of finance certificate to commence the process of applying for a US visa. All immigration-related issues are handled by the Office of Global Services (OGS). After getting the official admission notice from the university and the ID number, the students need to fill up online the I-20 or DS-2019 form. Candidates need to carry the following documents when they attend the visa interview:

  • A valid Passport copy
  • Filled out visa application forms
  • Visa application fee receipt  
  • Passport sized photos
  • I-20 form that the university has issued
  • University’s acceptance letter 
  • Scholarship/ Sponsorship Letter(if required)
