The University of Pennsylvania, known also as UPenn or Penn, is a private university based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. 

Established in 1740, at Penn, there are four undergraduate schools and twelve graduate as well as professional schools. A private Ivy League institution, the university is home to a medical school and a B-School. 

UPenn currently houses 28,000 students, of which 13% are foreign nationals. Acceptance rate of the University of Pennsylvania 

UPenn has an acceptance rate of 5.9%. The university houses more than 28,000 students currently. The number of students is more than 23,000 full-time and 5,000 part-time students.
