What is International Mobility Program?

The International Mobility Program allows Canadian employers to hire foreign workers on Canadian work permits without the need for a Labor Market Assessment (LMIA). Candidates are hired on a Canada work permit to work in Canada via the IMP pathway. The International Mobility Program provides a path for foreign workers to apply for permanent residency in Canada. The IMP makes the process smoother and more efficient for employers and employees. The International Mobility Program comprises various initiatives to promote international Labor mobility, which benefits Canada’s broader economic and cultural interest.
