Estonia Digital Nomad Visa
Estonia is the first country to embrace and adapt to the changing work cultures by introducing the e-residency program. With the rise in the number of remote workers and freelancers Estonia has stared accepting Digital Nomad Visas from August 2020.
Estonia majorly has two types of Digital Nomad Visas:
Estonia Type C Digital Nomad Visa: This temporary Visa allows digital nomads to reside in Estonia for up to 90 days.
Estonia Type D Digital Nomad Visa: This is a long-term stay visa that allows digital nomads to stay in the country for a year.
Eligibility Criteria for Estonia Digital Nomad Visa
- Must be above the age of 18
- Must be working as a freelancer or work remotely
- Must fall under one of the 3 categories:
- Work for a company that is registered in a foreign country along with a work contract with the employer.
- Run business activities for a company that is registered in a foreign country where you are either a business partner or a shareholder of that company.
- Perform consulting services or freelance work for clients who have their head offices in a foreign land.
- Proof of income
- A minimum income requirement of 150 Euros per day per person
